Message Ads: Can’t launch Whatsapp Ads

Having trouble launching your WhatsApp campaign? Don't worry, this guide will help you get them up and running in no time.

The Issue:

You might encounter an error where WhatsApp isn't allowing you to launch campaigns, even though it's linked to your Facebook account. This can happen if the connection between the two platforms isn't properly established.

The Fix:


  1. Unlink Your WhatsApp Account: Head over to business.facebook.com. On the settings, you'll be able to see your connected accounts. Remove the WhatsApp Accounts connection.

  2. Find Your Facebook Page Settings: Navigate to your Facebook Page Settings. You do this by switching into your page profile on facebook.com and clicking on "Settings" from the main menu.
  3. Linked Accounts Section: Scroll down until you find the section labeled "Linked Accounts". This is where the magic happens!
  4. Connect WhatsApp: In the Linked Accounts section, you should see an option to connect WhatsApp. Simply click on it and follow the on-screen instructions.

Success! Once you've reconnected WhatsApp, try using it again. It might take some minutes to refresh but clear the cache and it should now be functioning properly.
